Nice property, clean and comfortable, within walking distance of the plaza. Enjoyed the little patio in the morning for coffee. It was helpful to have a flashlight in the evenings to work the door keypad. Would stay here again.
Will recommend when you need to get away and find the comforts of home.
It was my first trip to Santa Fe, NM so I was not familiar with the area. The location was a bit hard to find not knowing where to enter and having to walk around trying to find the correct door name. The inside of the rooms were very clean however the upkeep of the outdoor area was not kept at all. I didn't know to bring fire wood which would have been nice however didn't want to disturb any one by using the outdoor area. I didn't know if the other units were being rented or if they had perminant residents. Overall I would recommend this as a good place to stay. However the area around doesn't seem to be that good and I didn't feel very safe not knowing the area. I think I would feel fine the next time. The walk to plaza only took about 8 minutes. Again if I knew the area I think I would have felt safer. I didn't realize it was in a neighborhood and there would be a mixed group of rental property and perminant residence. I will have to say the unit was very clean and once inside a cozy enviroment with a very comfortable feeling. Thanks.
I want to especially thank Tatiana for the help and cordination of setting up a perfect weekend in Santa Fe. As a first time guest to the Santa Fe area I expierenced lots of ease when i found how close and convient the casitas were in location to the Plaza and other amenities. The full kitchen, lovely surroundings, BBQ and hot tub were all bonuses. Thank you very much Tatiana for all your help during/prior to the weekend and the recomendation for casita Martinez. My girlfriend loved it!!!
Our vacation was wonderful, and half of it was due to our beautiful casita. It captures the warmth and beauty of Santa Fe, and made us feel so comfortable and welcomed. It made us feel like we were part of the city, not tourists.
Great location and management was very curteous and helpful. I will recommend this place.
This is my second Digital Nomad rental.This one was great with Carlos as a big help. Although we were switched to 3 different casitas (due to scheduling mix-ups) we actually think we got the best of show. My first Digital Nomad experience got off to a rocky start,as we dealt with Gordy and were not familiar with the keycode location. Having arrived in the dark and calling the only numbers we had for Gordy, we were having trouble getting in the actual casa. We finally found a flashlight(as the porch light was out)and figured out the key pad (there were 2 on the door we had). We never did get a return call or follow-up call from Gordy. Never knew what happened to him--until he called to ask us to switch casitas on this recent trip. We will continue to recommend Digital rentals to all. Thanks!
The rental was a great experience - very cozy, comfortable, quiet, and a great location within walking distance to the Plaza and other local shopping/restaurants. Only a couple of not so positives - I think it would be good to provide bar soap in the shower area - I was told that the management no longer provides because people take the soap. I think soap is a basic for a vacation rental. The description of the property on the website indicates robes provided as an amenity - there weren't any robes. I called the night before our check-in to see if hair dryers were provided and was told they were. There wasn't a hair dryer in the casita when we arrived. I think you should either update your website to let renters know what to bring or provide the items. Overall I would definitely recommend the casita to friends; it was a very pleasant stay.
It's a charming little place. Tastefully decorated. All the appliance are good quality. Location is excellent. Short walk to the plaza, historic center, and shopping. Also a very short walk to a supermarket. The out door fire place area, hot tub, and yards are all very nice. The pictures on the web do not show the true beauty of the property. We were very comfortable there. The only thing is there is no laundry machine in this unit. If you need to do laundry, better get the bigger unit with the machine. We will definitely come back to this property when we come back to Santa Fe.

We had a wonderful time at Casa Martinez! Several suggestions: better/more lighting in kitchen, especially over the stove. The hot tub was wonderful and really enjoyed the outdoor area, a step stool would have been nice for us shorter folks. It was a stretch to get in and out. The vegitation and flowers in the common area were fantastic! Thanks for a wonderful time! We really enjoyed it
NO CENTRAL TEMPERATURE CONTROL, NOT ENOUGH CLOSET SPACE, POOR WATER PRESSURE FOR SHOWERS, SMALL REFRIGERATOR, BUT WAS SUPPLIED A LARGER ONE, LITTLE CABINET SPACE FOR A WEEK STAY FOR FOOD ETC. AND EASE OF COOKING. FURNITURE, DECOR,STOVE,SMALL APPLIANCES AND BED WERE NICE.
The heater did not work in my casita so I was moved to another. I was frustrated at the amount of time it took for people to get back to me. However, Carlos comped my room for the inconvenience. I had a bad experience with the housekeeper who slammed my door on me...now way to treat a guest. However, I LOVE the Casistas and would recommend them.
We were very pleased with the accommodation. Everything was as it was stated on the website except for the laundry. However, Carlos allowed us to use laundry facilities in another unit which we really appreciated. We really enjoyed our stay.
Overall, Casita Martinez met our needs nicely. A couple of problems, however: 1) Parking is confusing and inadequate2) The unit is not completely air conditioned (window unit in bedroom.) Consequently, much of the casita was too warm for us.3) Lighting in the bedroom is inadequate. Especially need lights by the bed for reading.
Clean property, smaller than expected. Lots of noise, which upset my dog, then upset the management. Not as close to convention center as indicated, had to drive. Was a 25 minute walk each way. Not good for my semi-handicapped spouse.
I loved the property, the furnishings, and the location. Various and sundry occurences were strange, not the least of which occurred when Carlos asked me to vacate the property when an air conditioner was not readily available - a request, which was made by me, before my arrival, after I arrived, and which never happened. I was told to vacate the property after my third request because, "We can't accommodate you."
